They are usually combined with a verbal report (z.B. … it is not convincing). In this section, you have a series of phrases to show you how you can accept in English in different ways. My advice is that you read through them, choose 5 or 6 that you particularly like and that you memorize them. Also, I just recommend stopping « I agree with you » because it`s terribly easy and if you`re trying to make a Speaking B2 or Speaking C1, it certainly won`t be enough. So let`s take a look.

The most direct way to express consent by a verb agrees with me. If the person you agree with has not yet been named, you can do so based on the person (see 44. Verbal prepositional disorders), and you can indicate the point on which you agree: to disagree with an opinion – or even an alleged fact – you must do much more than simply doubt it (see 168. But it is this last point that is at the centre of the concerns here. Most of the options are equivalent to the agreements mentioned above. This more complex way of showing differences of opinion is discussed in detail elsewhere in these pages in 51. Concessions with May. An example is that learning pragmatic and speaking out successfully is a useful achievement, Rundell said in January, presenting the new pragmatic series on Macmillan Dictionary.

Consensual adjectives can be associated with two types of noliths: representatives of the owner of the opinion (z.B Marx, adherents) and those who defend opinion (z.B. proposal, faith). You can pass right in front of this name or after with a link (the normal positions of the adjectives – see 109. Place an adjective after its noun. The first example below shows consent to an opinion holder (note the use of in-ing); The others focus on opinion: sometimes, when we discuss something in the form of expression or writing, we can agree with some aspects of what is discussed, but not necessarily 100%. How to avoid « me, » « us » and « you. » The verbs that allow me to avoid myself are a specific subset of words that help to point out the idea of another writer (so parity – see 76. The tensions of quotation verbs). The example below contains the quotation verb that indicates that adjectives revealing disagreements do not seem to be often used to describe an opinion holder, perhaps because they may seem rude.
